Old Second National Bank has a long-standing commitment to the communities we serve. As a financial institution, it is our responsibility to meet the guidelines of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), but our commitment extends beyond legislative requirements and is central to our efforts to help families, businesses and our communities grow and prosper. It is because of this commitment that Old Second has proudly received an “Outstanding” rating from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in our most recent CRA Exam.
In accordance with the CRA, Old Second and all financial institutions are required to maintain and, upon request, make available for public inspection a complete CRA Public File. The Public File includes information about our branches, such as their location and services provided at them; the public section of our most recent CRA performance evaluation prepared by the Comptroller of the Currency; comments received from the public relating to our performance in helping to meet community credit needs, as well as our responses to those comments, and other information.
Old Second is pleased to provide CRA Public file information online for viewing convenience. Interested parties may review any or all of the information and data provided. Old Second is also able to provide hard copies of these documents upon request; subject to a reasonable fee assessed to cover copying and mailing expenses.
* Updating: Except as otherwise provided in the regulation, Old Second will ensure that the information required by the Community Reinvestment Act and provided here is current as of April 1st of each calendar year.
