Richard A. Gartelmann Jr. currently manages the Bank’s Wealth Management Division and serves as Chief Executive Officer of River Street Advisors. With over 20 years of trust and investment experience, Rich manages individual and institutional relationships. Rich is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Governor’s State University, a master’s of business administration from St. Xavier University, and has attended Cannon Trust School.
Steve Meves, CFA
Managing Director - Chief Investment Officer
Steve has over 18 years of investment experience managing investments for trust clients, high-net-worth individuals and institutional relationships. He manages the Investment Team that is responsible for our investment strategy, market research, security analysis, and portfolio management. He also manages client portfolios.
Steve has a B.B.A. in Finance, Investments & Banking and a B.A. in Economics from University of Wisconsin – Madison. He also has a M.B.A. from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

Jacqueline A. Runnberg, CFP®

Drawing on over 20 years of Investment and Trust experience, Jacqueline serves as a trusted advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She advises and guides high net worth individuals, families and business owners in the planning and management of their wealth. Utilizing our distinct and comprehensive approach she brings an integrated team of credentialed specialists to clients to provide advanced financial planning, investment and money management, tax planning, estate planning and administration, charitable giving and wealth transfer. This collaborative approach ensures our clients receive relevant and professional advice in our delivery of a comprehensive Wealth Management Strategy.

Brad Johnson brings over 8 years of financial industry experience to his role as a Managing Director - Senior Portfolio Manager with River Street Advisors. Brad manages individual and institutional relationships. Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as well as a Master of Science in Finance degree also from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a holder of the FINRA 65 license and has the designations Chartered Financial Analyst® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Chief Compliance Officer
David Bach is responsible for administering the firm’s compliance policies and procedures. David has over 25 years of banking experience primarily in internal audit and compliance with extensive experience in asset management and fiduciary activities reviews.
David has a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University, has his FINRA Series 65 license, and maintains his Certified Internal Auditor designation.
Sandra Nies brings over 20 years of banking industry experience to River Street Advisors. Ms. Nies serves as an advisor to high net worth individuals, families, and business owners. She is responsible for coordinating the efforts of a relationship based team that includes investment professionals, financial planners, trust services, and estate specialists.
This approach ensures our clients receive relevant and professional advice in our delivery of a comprehensive Wealth Management strategy. Sandra is a holder of the FINRA 65 license.
Amy Lynch is a Wealth Advisor for River Street Advisors. She collaborates with managing directors and fellow advisors to provide personalized investment management and financial planning services to River Street’s clients. She assists in the preparation of customized comprehensive financial plans and portfolios, as well as provides administrative support to Portfolio Managers and clients.
Ms. Lynch earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance Degree from Governors State University. She is a holder of the FINRA Series 65 license and is currently working to obtain the CFP designation to further broaden her planning and investment knowledge.
Mike Demski is responsible for development and management of client accounts, management of stock and asset allocation models, portfolio analysis, evaluation of mutual fund managers, and quantitative and qualitative security analysis. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University, has a FINRA License Series 65, and is a CFA Level II Candidate.
Investment Research Analyst
Luke Winkle is an Investment Research Analyst with River Street Advisors. He is responsible for the management of stock and asset allocation models, portfolio analysis, evaluation of mutual fund managers, quantitative and qualitative security analysis, and trade execution. Luke earned a Bachelor of Science in both Finance and Information Technology from Marquette University. He is also a holder of the FINRA 65 license.
As a Client Associate, Darlene DesJardine provides administrative support to the Wealth Advisors and Portfolio Managers. She handles client correspondence and manages office services and supplies. Darlene has over a decade of experience in the banking industry serving clients.
