When will I become an Old Second National Bank customer?
As of the close of the business day on October 17, 2025, your account(s) will be transitioned from EBG to Old Second, and you will be an Old Second customer. To view the Account Conversion Breakdowns for Checking and Savings accounts please use the links below:
Will my account number(s) change?
No, your account number(s) will remain the same. Some accounts that resulted in a duplicate account through the transition may need to have their number changed. Impacted customers will be notified.
Will my routing number change?
Yes. Please note: Although your existing routing number will remain active for a period of time, we encourage you to update your routing number wherever necessary including direct deposit or ACH (Auto Pay) payment accounts that are currently set up with your EBG routing number. The new routing number is 071900760.
When will my new debit card arrive?
You can expect your new debit card to arrive the week of October 6th. Please plan on activating it on or after October 20, 2025. You may continue using your current Evergreen Bank Group debit card through 11:59 p.m. CST on October 19, 2025. Do not use your current EBG card AFTER October 20, 2025, as transactions will be denied.
When will I be able to access my account online and/or through a mobile app?
Access to digital banking for both online and mobile will be available on October 20th.
Do I have to re-enroll in eStatements?
Yes. Your enrollment with EBG eStatements does not automatically transfer over so you'll have to enroll with Old Second to start receiving eStatements. Enrolling in eStatements is always optional.
Do I have to set up Bill Pay?
No. Your Bill Pay payee information and payments will convert but
please check for accuracy when you log in for the first time. Contact us

Will Zelle still work?
You will need to re-register with Zelle through O2 Digital Banking by selecting Send Money with Zelle®. Zelle is not available for business accounts.
Will I have to order new checks for my personal account?
No. Your current checks can still be used until you’ve finished your supply. You will not need to get any new checks for your account unless we notify you otherwise, or you are in need of a re-order.
Will I have to order new checks for my commercial account?
Yes. To get you started, you can request that your banker order you wallet size business checks (quantity of 60). No water marks, customizations, logos, duplicates, endorsement stamps or computer checks are included
with this initial complimentary order.
