All Hands on Deck!
1940s Musical Revue
11:00 am
Lincoln-Way North High School Performing Arts Center
The Details:

Reservations due Fri. Oct. 3, 2014

$15 per ticket (drive on your own)

Based on Bob Hope's 1942 USO tour to the troops in the field, All Hands on Deck! is a live radio broadcast performed by four charismatic actors, singers, dancers, and comics along with a nine-piece orchestra. On-air antics, classic commercials, timeless songs, and hilarious impromptu skits power the radio show until the performance comes full circle with a big patriotic finish that pays tribute to both active duty and veteran members of our armed forces. This heart-warming, toe-tapping Broadway journey includes songs such as Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Atchison Topeka and the Santa Fe, I'm in the Mood for Love, Pennsylvania Polka, I'll Never Smile Again, America the Beautiful, Thanks for the Memory, and a powerful Military Medley. All Hands on Deck! delivers great music and classic humor from those special days of road shows, war-bond drives, and radio broadcasts.
